DIY Aligners

As the inventor of the Truline Invisible Orthodontic system manufactured in the Sydney suburb of Mascot, Terry Whitty utilises state-of-the art 3D printing technology to produce clear aligners 24/7. But just as one-visit chairside DIY milling of crowns are becoming more popular, will one-visit DIY aligners also become practical? In this lecture, Terry will explore the digital aligner workflow and how improvements in hardware, software and materials are making DIY aligners a reality. In addition, direct printing of aligners will also be discussed.

14.15 - 15.00 • Session 6
